Polished Nickel

The Standard is the mainstream Steadfast bar, plated in nickel and polished to a bright mirror finish that matches conventional chrome and nickel hardware. Underneath it is the same billet 6061 aluminum and the same string-locking design as the rest of the line, in the finish most players will reach for first.

The Steadfast Stopbar™ is the world's first string-locking tailpiece. Rather than feeding slack through the tuning post and winding the string around it, the string runs the opposite way: anchored at the tuning post and clamped at the bar under a set screw. That takes out the winding, the slowest part of a restring, and reduces restring time by up to 75%.

Once locked at the bar, the string does not slip as you bring it to pitch, and tuning holds under bends and hard playing. It installs as a direct drop-in on two-stud, top-mount guitars, with no routing or modification.
