Raw Aluminum

This is an original prototype from our first run, a small batch machined for field testing before the production line existed. Only a handful were made, and only a handful remain. It is bare, unfinished 6061 aluminum, cut to Gibson spacing and tumbled smooth, so it feels like the Faded in hand but without any anodizing over the metal.

Because the aluminum is unsealed, it will discolor, pit, and patina over time. That may take months or years, but it will happen. On an original prototype the aged look is part of the appeal, but if you want hardware that stays clean and bright, choose one of the anodized or plated finishes instead.

Mechanically it is a full Steadfast bar. The string runs in reverse, seated at the tuning post and locked at the bar under a set screw, which removes the winding and cuts restring time by up to 75%. Once locked, it holds while you tune and through bends and hard playing.

One caution: this early run was cut to Gibson spacing only and does not carry the universal Imperial and Metric fit of the current line. Check your guitar before ordering.
