Why this driver

The set screws should be tightened all the way down. This driver is made to reach the right torque and stop there. A standard L-key or T-handle fits the same 2.5mm screw but gives far more leverage, enough to over-tighten and pinch a string, so it is the wrong tool for the job even though the size matches.

Why add it to your order

Your bar already ships with a tool, so this is purely a spare. Keep the driver where you store your spare strings or on top of your amp, so it's always on hand when you sit down to restring. The screws could be a backup set for the case or gig bag, or a color swap to better match your plastics, or just for fun. Now, if a screw ever rolls away, lost forever, you have more.
